    DEAR DIARY,

I had enthusiastically waiting for the holiday in Spain for a long time. The big day finally arrived.
On 30 August we set off for the beautiful town, Malaga. Our plane took of the 3 p.m. Some of us were thrilled, others were very frightened as they never flown before. I like very much off. The plane walked slowly and suddenly caught speed. I felt a void in my stomach when we started to rise our. When I looked out of window I can admired the amazing landscape: fluffy clouds, the Mediterranean Sea and lots of vegetation. Flight lasted 3 hours after we started landing. I was a bit scared and I felt again a void in my stomach, but finally plane wheels reached the runway and all applaud the pilot and his equipages because it was a good flight. We arrived at Kristal Hotel at half past seven.

It was the most beautiful experience I’ve ever had.

Do you think that children should go to school or be educated at home? (essay 2)

Although most parents agree that public education is better, most scientists say that school is beneficial in more ways. In my opinion going to school has more advantages than home education.
The main advantage of going to school is that children can communicate with their classmates. They become friends, socialize, exchange their ideas or opinions and this helps them enrich their knowledge and experience. These will be very important to them as they grow up.
Secondly studying at a public school is more productive. It brings about competitiveness among children and also teaches them to work as part of a team.
On the other hand studying at school can sometimes have disadvantages because some kids are shy and do not get along well with the others, staying isolated. Children who do not relate well with the others are often left aside or laughed at. This may create conflicts among classmates which are sometimes followed by fight.
One good point of home education is that children get the whole attention of their teachers and they are not disturbed by anything. Furthermore children who study at home are not tied to a certain schedule.
The main drawback of home education is that children do not socialize and have no one to compete with. Moreover they lack the enjoyment of being part of a group or work in a team.
To sum up, I believe public education has more benefits than home education.

HOW IS IT TO BE A STAR? (essay 1)

All stars say it is very good to be famous, but sometimes some disadvantages appear. In my opinion being a star has more advantages than disadvantages.
The first advantage of being a star is that all celebrities appear on TV and they are known by many people. They give many autographs and they are called to many interviews. Moreover all stars earn very well and they can afford almost everything. Furthermore most stars hire people to help them. For example bodyguards who protect them, make-up artists who take care of their look and designers who create fashionable clothes for celebrities.
On the other hand being a star can sometimes have some drawbacks. Stars are always followed by paparazzi who want to capture them in different postures and this makes them feel uncomfortable or even stressed. Additional stars are always asked to give details about their personal lives and they dislike that.
To sum up being a star has more good points than bad points.

AT THE MOUNTAIN

STORY 2

Last year I was with my friend, Sarah at the seaside in Mamaia, for a week.
one day we went together to the beach. We had put our towels on the gold, soft sand and wanted to enter in the crystal, blue water. The wind was blowing hard and there were big waves.
At first I was a little scared of the power of the waves which were coming to the shore but my friend pulled we by the hand saying it would be fun.
We entered in the water. We had adventured ourselves in the sea and we were jumping over the strong waves. Together we were swimming along them and did't realized that we were far from the shore.
Suddenly we saw a fish tail and we were very afraid. The lifeguard also whistled to warn us that we had passed the buoy. We listened to the lifeguard ad swam back as fast as we could.
Finally we returned to the shore weel and healthy after such an adventure.
I guess I will think twice before I take such a decision.

STORY 1

When I open the book a weird feeling put hold on me. People were wearing old fashion clothes and the atmosphere was like hundred years ago.
I woke in the middle of carrying an amazing wedding. The ceremony was outside in a wonderful place. There were chairs on both sides of a long red carpet. At the end of the carpet there were newlyweds. The bride was dressed in a white, log dress, with a bunch of colorful flowers in her hands and a beautiful hat with a feather. The groom was wearing a black tails, a light colored shirt with collar, a bow tie and a fantastic topper. They were so marvelous like fairy tales characters. All of the people were wearing vintage clothes.
On the street were galloping horse-drawn carriages and antique, convertibles cars. Everything had an old air.
Suddenly I opened my eyes and I was back in my bed with that book in my hand.
Traveling back in time was the most amazing experience.

Movie review

THE ORPHAN

The Orphan is a horror film. The story takes place inside a house and around it. The main characters are Esther, a really strange girl, and her adoptive parents Kate and John.
The tragic loss of their unborn child divested Kate and John, as a result they decided to adopt a girl named Esther beside other their two children Max and Daniel. At the first sight she is an angelic little kid, but she hides something horrible: Esther tries to kill everybody around her, including her new family. Her horrifying actions are a consequence of a weir illness she has. Another secret of her is that she is in fact a
grown-up woman of 33 years, and not an 8-year-old. At the end of the movie Esther is killed by her adopting mother.
The Orphan is a very frightening film with many special effects, such as explosions and outstanding horror costumes.
My opinion is that “The Orphan” is one of the most thrilling film. I definitely recommend it.

NUCLEAR ENERGY

Nuclear Power is becoming more and more popular in the search af alternative energy supplies. In my opinion, although using nuclear power raises some serious concerns, it also has its benefits.
In the first place, the advantages of nuclear power are found in the areas of environment and health. Nuclear energy emits no acid or greenhouse gases. It’s a clean, safe and economical energy source that doesn’t contribute to air pollution, global warming ar acid rain. Furthermore, it is reliable. Nuclear power plants need little fuel, so they are less vulnerable to shortages because of strikes of natural disaster. Besides, nuclear power is one of the safest methods of producing energy. There are a number of safety mechanisms that make the chances of of reactor accidents very low.

On the other hand, nuclear energy has its drawbacks. Firstly, there’s expense. Mining and processing uranium is costly, as is the building and operation of the power plants. Moreover, although nucleae fission does not release harmful gases, it does produce harmful waste products. This radioactive waste must be stored for as many as a thousand years before before it is safe.
All things considered, I strongly believe that, though nuclear power has bad points, its advantages for humanity are numerous and we all should do our best to use it.

Using animals for entertainment

There is no doubt that animals used in entertainment make us, people, have great fun, but on the other hand they do not really feel at ease and maybe it would be a good idea to let them in their natural habitat.
To stars with zoos can be educational and also help to increase the number of endangered species though controlled breeding programmes. For example you can find out more information about different species and their habitat. What’s more, the animals are very well taken care of and helped to reproduce.
Another advantage of animals used in television programmes, advertisements and films is that they attract large audiences. For instance people enjoy seeing animals take part in different races or performing on stage. This is one of the most relaxing spare time activities.

Using animals for fun can also have disadvantages keeping animals in cage so the public can see them is unnecessary because documentaries produced today take away the need for such places. Nowadays we can learn a lot about animals by watching them in their natural “houses”. Documentaries show us how happy the animals are when they are free and teach us many interesting things about them.
Another bad point of animals used in entertainment is that animals are forced to perform unnatural acts for the pleasure of the public. We all like to see animals dancing, riding bikes or jumping through circles, but have we ever wondered if they really like doing these things? They are probable have without food in order to have them perform.
All in al, although animals in entertainment have great success it would be best to leave them free and not force them to do anything. There are many other ways of entertainment.

EASTER HOLIDAY

Easter holiday is the most beautiful holiday because it’s spring and the nature comes back to life and Easter Bunny brings us a lot of wonderful presents.

School holiday are long expected period of time when all the children forget about homework and relax themselves. I met with my friends in the park. We walked with rollerblading and with our bike. In another day we went at the mall and at the cinema to see a good film. It was so wonderful. I also read some books, relaxing so much.

All families prepare all kinds of delicious food and mouth-watering sweets. Thursday I helped my grandma to paint eggs. We did colorful eggs: red, blue, green, yellow. Next day we prepared sweet bread and Easter cake. Saturday we cooked the lamb with sweet potatoes. I liked very much to be helpful with Easter preparations.

Everybody feels great is better and forget about all bad things. At Easter night I and my family were at the church to take light. On Easter Sunday we were at my uncle and my aunt house. They waited for us with different delicious meals: they served an aperitif with sausages and red eggs dumplings with polenta, lamb, chicken and for desert sweet bread and a good taste cake. Easter Bunny was good and gave me: many amazing clothes and a new phone.

Easter Holiday is my favorite even if it is short because is a beautiful peaceful celebration.
