Using animals for entertainment

There is no doubt that animals used in entertainment make us, people, have great fun, but on the other hand they do not really feel at ease and maybe it would be a good idea to let them in their natural habitat.
To stars with zoos can be educational and also help to increase the number of endangered species though controlled breeding programmes. For example you can find out more information about different species and their habitat. What’s more, the animals are very well taken care of and helped to reproduce.
Another advantage of animals used in television programmes, advertisements and films is that they attract large audiences. For instance people enjoy seeing animals take part in different races or performing on stage. This is one of the most relaxing spare time activities.

Using animals for fun can also have disadvantages keeping animals in cage so the public can see them is unnecessary because documentaries produced today take away the need for such places. Nowadays we can learn a lot about animals by watching them in their natural “houses”. Documentaries show us how happy the animals are when they are free and teach us many interesting things about them.
Another bad point of animals used in entertainment is that animals are forced to perform unnatural acts for the pleasure of the public. We all like to see animals dancing, riding bikes or jumping through circles, but have we ever wondered if they really like doing these things? They are probable have without food in order to have them perform.
All in al, although animals in entertainment have great success it would be best to leave them free and not force them to do anything. There are many other ways of entertainment.
