Christmas Countdown

I never do this again!

In my summer holiday I went with my uncle to fishing with his boat.Me went over by boat until I found a good place for fishing. We have caught many fish.Suddenly the boat stopped.We realized that we ran out of petrol and we couln't went back. After a few minutes a storm started.My uncle called fat for help and after three hours we was back on land. I don't want to repeat this terrible experience.

NEW YEAR IN ROUMANIA

         

      It’s December 31^st , New Year’s  Eve in Roumania.It’s time when roumanian celebrate the arrival of the new year.People usually celebrate New Year in their houses.

        Before the New Year people usually sent invitation to friends and decorate the house with colourful balloons and banners saying “Happy New Year”. They also buy drinks and prepare delicious food.

         During the New Year: during the evening of December 31^st peple dress in their best clothes and go to parties.They dance,eat and have fun.When the clock strike 12 everyone shouts”Happy New Year” and they drink a glass of champagne .People wish one another happy New Year.People set off magnificent fireworks in the streets.Soon after midnight people visit their friends or neighbours.The first man who enter the nouse brings goog luck with him.It’s a perfect way to melcome the New Year.

CHRISTMAS

       

          Christmas celebrate day when was born Jesus Christ. We usually celebrate Christmas at home with our family and relatives.

          Before Christmas people decorate the house with red socks with reindeers on them,at windous they put a snowman or a tree and bluebells.Families make a big and beautiful fir tree decorated with many bright colored lights,star,snowflakes,balls of different shapes,bells,tinsel and on top they put a star.People make sousages,eggs, dumblings with polenta,steak,ckiken,sweet bread.

           During the Christmas we eat prepared food. Children receive many present from Santa Clous and we all listen to carols.

           Everybody feels happy.

IS DRUG ADDICTION INFLUENCED BY OTHERS?

People have talked about drug addiction for a long time and they have different opinions on this subject.
In my opinion drug addiction is always influnced by someone.For exemple if you are in a group of people who are drug addiction and you aren't strong enoughto tell right from wrong you may easily be influenced by them.
Usually the fear not to be accepted by a group makes you take wrong decision.
To conclude I would advice people who have unapropiate friends to have the courage not to give up on their beliefs and try to chose what's best for them.True friends will never make you do something wrong.

IS THERE LIFE ON OTHER PLANETS?

People like to think that there is life on other planets. I think this is a fantesy. In my opinion, if there is no evidence it means there is no life. Let’s now look at the findingsof some of the explorations.

To begin with, in spite of the fact that Mars has an atmosphere, the environment of Mars seems unfriendly toward life as we know it on earth.

Moreover Mars is small, so there is not much gravity. For this reason, much of the atmosphere of Mars has drifted away. With little atmosphere, and no ozone layer, there is less protection from the ultraviolet radiation of the sun, which is very harmful to life. With little atmosphere, there is only a little pressure, which sophisticated life forms such as humans need to keep blood from boiling.

Scientists discovered in the past that liquid water flowed on the surface of Mars. With a liquid water habitat and a thicker atmosphere, life may have once prospered, still more exploration of Mars is needed to determine if life was once present there.

To conclude,I can say that I don’t belive that thare is life on other planets.We don’t have proof that this is true. When scientists have proof,then maybe I will belive it

The WHERE I'M FROM Template

I am from amazingly green parks , from meat rolls, polenta  and  mashed potatoes.

 I am from  cosy rooms full of love catchy stories and beautiful songs at the weekends.

 I am from the breathtaking sunrise, grandma’s smile, father’s caress, and roller-blading goings.

 I am from long walks in the park love and gentleness , from  Mariana and  Maria and  Razvan.

I am from someone who has hope fulness and confidence about the future ,from kind and sympathetic.

 From Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs  and grandfather’s words: Never give up!

 I'm from  Bucharest, from nosy, crowded streets, from pumpkin pie and freshly baked pizza.

 From birds’ and cricket’s chirps , the pink teddy bear, and never be late and never shout at anybody.

 I am from the rainy day of my first exam and how relieved I felt after I had passed it.

Halloween (or Hallowe'en) is an annual holiday observed on October 31, which commonly includes activities such as trick-or-treating, attending costume parties, carving jack-o'-lanterns, bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films.
   

Origin of name

The word Halloween is first attested in the 16th century and represents a Scottish variant of the fuller All-Hallows-Even ("evening"), that is, the night before All Hallows Day. Although the phrase All Hallows is found in Old English (ealra hālgena mæssedæg, mass-day of all saints), All-Hallows-Even is itself not attested until 1556.

HISTORY      Historian Nicholas Rogers, exploring the origins of Halloween, notes that while "some folklorists have detected its origins in the Roman feast of Pomona, the goddess of fruits and seeds, or in the festival of the dead called Parentalia, it is more typically linked to the Celtic festival of Samhain, whose original spelling was Samuin (pronounced sow-an or sow-in)". The name of the festival historically kept by the Gaels and celts in the British Isles which is derived from Old Irish and means roughly "summer's end".

MY DIARY

                       Dear diary,
    
            Here I am in Greece.We arrived at 9 a.m. after a twelve-hour-drive.My father is thrilled that he can finaly stretch his legs.My mother and I are excited about everything. We have never seen houses so white and a sea so blue. The weather is fantastic;the sun is shining brighty and the scenery is magnificent.
           Right now, I and my mom are on the beach eating delicious ice-cream and enjoying the beautiful day.
           Dad is snorkelling in the sea and mom is reading a fashion magazine.
           Some moments ago I made friends with Sarah from America. I found out many interesting things about U.S.A. and I told her about my country and culture.
            She was very impressed by Bran Castle and she said she could hardly wait to visit it one day.
