It’s December 31st , New
Year’s Eve in Roumania.It’s time when
roumanian celebrate the arrival of the new year.People usually celebrate New
Year in their houses.
Before the New Year people usually sent
invitation to friends and decorate the house with colourful balloons and
banners saying “Happy New Year”. They also buy drinks and prepare delicious
food.
During the New Year: during the
evening of December 31st peple dress in their best clothes and go to
parties.They dance,eat and have fun.When the clock strike 12 everyone
shouts”Happy New Year” and they drink a glass of champagne .People wish one
another happy New Year.People set off magnificent fireworks in the streets.Soon
after midnight people visit their friends or neighbours.The first man who enter
the nouse brings goog luck with him.It’s a perfect way to melcome the New Year.
